Erola Masqué

VIOLIN TEACHER

At the age of seven Erola Masqué began her musical education with Coloma Bertran and Quim Térmens at the Vic Professional Conservatory.

In 2020 she was admitted at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London under the tutelage of Stephanie Gonley and Ofer Falk, where she is currently studying her undergraduate studies.

Performing music is something that she enjoys a lot; it brings her to play in various concerts around her country as well as in the UK during the last year. Among them she played in Vic, under the Moments Musicals organization and in the Villa Margarita Music Fest.

Her curiosity to know references of classical music has led her to participate in various masterclasses and courses such as: XIV Course for Young Musicians "Santa María del Paular", where she received classes from Cibrán Sierra, Miguel Colom and Kennedy Moretti, IV International Quartet Academy with the mastery of the Gerhard String Quartet. In 2021 she took part in the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Lucca (Italy) and Cidnay International Masterclass Series (Portugal) where she had the opportunity to work with renowned teachers such as Mark Gothony, Yair Kless, Boris Brovskyn and Esther Haffner.

Her love and interest for the pedagogy has given her the opportunity to teach kids for 3 years now. She is now teaching with Pelican Music where she teaches one to one lessons and ensembles to kids from 5 to 14 in primary schools around London. She plays a Sitjas’s violin from 2020.
