2:1 Access Year
We recognise that learning an instrument can be a considerable financial commitment for families, so we’re piloting a 2:1 Access Year. This is a new initiative for the 2024/25 academic year, designed to give an accessible start to learning an instrument.
After the access year, we’ll be able to help support you access funding to continue lessons on a 1:1 basis.
WHAT IS THE 2:1 ACCESS YEAR?
One year of 30 minute lessons, as a pair with another student
Students will be within one academic year of each other
One year commitment, charged termly
Cost per session for all schools: £14 per lesson
What instruments can i learn?
Year 1 and 2 can choose Violin, Cello or Guitar
Year 3-6 can choose from Flute, Clarinet or Trumpet
