Daniel McBride studied Composition at the Royal College of Music, London, under the tuition of Haris Kittos, generally supported by a scholarship from the Drexler foundation. Daniel has written music for clients such as Landrover, Saatchi&Saatchi, Channel 4 Random Acts, Burberry, Vogue Italia, and PAPER Magazine, as well as numerous short films and documentaries which has won recognition at Edinburgh Film Festival, Glasgow Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival. Daniel has worked in collaboration with Photographer Katie Barlow with the UN, Artist Alexander James, Artists from the Royal College of Art, Poet Max Wallis. His music, as he continues to develop, is more retrospective often drawing more influence from the themes and issues around his own identity. Daniel is a Contemporary Composer and Pianist that aims to explore cross-genre collaborations between London’s classical music scene and vibrant Underground art and performance scenes.
